Kia Motors Company is expanding production in West Georgia. And that means more jobs.

Later this year Kia’s West Point plant will start making the Kia Optima Midsized Sedan.

The company is already hiring people to do the work. Kia says by the end of this year, 3,000 people will be working at the West Point facility.

Kia currently makes the popular Sorento CUV at the site.
