A new poll shows that Georgia Republicans are likely to sweep all statewide offices this November. The poll commissioned by WXIA Television and V-103 radio in Atlanta shows Republicans leading their Democratic opponents in the race for Governor, Lieutenant governor, U.S. Senate and State School Superintendant. But Eric Gray with the Georgia Democratic Party says they’re not worried, because the polling was done by SurveyUSA.

“If Survey USA had been correct then Karen Handel would be the Republican Nominee. That’s how much stock we put into their work.”

Gray says Georgia’s Democratic Party is using a new strategy, setting up 10 field offices around the state. He says the party, which has been losing power in the state over the past 8 years, wants to be more local.
