In Cobb County action, North Cobb won their second game in a row while Hillgrove continued their undefeated season with a win over North Forsyth. Class AAA No. 5 Carrollton dominated Centennial while Norcross held on to defeat Roswell. Wesleyan took out Twiggs Co. in Class A action while Buford rebounded to defeat Westminster in Class AA.

COBB
North Cobb 18, Lassiter 14: Both teams scored all their points in the first half, with host Lassiter (1-2) scoring all of its 14 in the first quarter and North Cobb (2-1) answering with 18 in the second. Quentin James scored twice on the ground for North Cobb, and Travis Hawkins ran for a score. North Cobb missed an extra point and two two-point conversions.

Hillgrove 42, North Forsyth 28: Hillgrove (3-0) broke open a 21-21 tie with 219 rushing yards in the fourth quarter to defeat visiting North Forsyth (1-2). Gage Henry ran for 194 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries while Kenyon Drake rushed 11 times for 158 yards and a score. North Forsyth got 159 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Tyler Slaton.

NORTH FULTON
Carrollton 49, Centennial 14: Carrollton (3-0) scored 49 unanswered points en route to a victory over visiting Centennial (1-2). Broderick Snoddy and Dallas Dickey had two rushing touchdowns each, and Javarious Jackson also ran one in. Quarterback A.J. Barge added touchdown passes to Marlandas Crane and Telvin Brown. Sean Gilrain and Cameron Malone each tallied rushing touchdowns for Centennial.

Norcross 20, Roswell 14: Quarterback Matt Poole put Norcross ahead 20-7 with a 1-yard sneak early in the fourth quarter. The visiting Blue Devils (3-0) led 13-0 at halftime after Chris Bingham made two field goals in the first half and Poole threw a touchdown pass to Bradley Coleman late in the second quarter. J.P. Douglas of Roswell (0-3) scored on a 1-yard keeper to draw the Hornets to within 20-14.

GWINNETT
Wesleyan 33, Twiggs County 0: The visiting Wolves (3-0) scored on a 24-yard pass from quarterback Andrew Frerking to Malachi Jones in the first quarter on their way to a 24-0 halftime lead. Wesleyan also blocked a Twiggs County (1-2) punt for a touchdown in the first quarter. Frerking was 13-of-19 passing for 141 yards while Zander Yost ran for 70 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.

South Gwinnett 45, Shiloh 12: South Gwinnett (2-1) picked up its first road win of the season over the Generals (0-3) in a Region 8-AAAAA matchup. Kevin Gary caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from Kent Rollins and ran a kickoff back 92 yards for a score. Rollins also ran in a score, while Aaron Wimberly found the end zone on a 2-yard run. Trevon Walker and Jordan Ramey added scores in the second half.

Buford 32, Westminster 10: Eric Barr returned a blocked field goal 94 yards for a touchdown and capped off the scoring with a 71-yard interception return as Buford (2-1) handled visiting Westminster (1-2). The Wildcats closed to within 16-10 at halftime on a William Linginfelter touchdown pass to Dylan Jeffay, but Buford’s Dominique Swope answered with a 27-yard scoring run.

M.L. King 43, Collins Hill 36: M.L. King (1-1) picked up its first win thanks to four touchdown passes from Jonquel Dawson (three to Demarco Robinson). Alan Carson had 10 tackles and an interception on defense. Collins Hill (1-2) got four touchdown passes from Taylor Heinicke, two of which came in the final minute of the first half. Jeff Glover caught two touchdown passes.

ELSEWHERE
St. Pius 49, North Hall 8: St. Pius racked up 454 rushing yards en route to a win over host North Hall (1-1). Quarterback T.J. Holloman ran for 251 yards — 236 in the first half — and scored three touchdowns. Geno Smith contributed on both sides of the ball for St. Pius (2-1) with a rushing touchdown and an interception.

Marist 27, Chamblee 0: Quarterback Cole Truxillo ran for a 2-yard score and threw a 10-yard touchdown for host Marist (2-1) in a Region 6-AAAA win over Chamblee (1-2). Austin Hicks added a 1-yard touchdown run, and Austin Hardin and Patrick Eeless hit 31- and 32-yard field goals, respectively, for the War Eagles.

Whitewater 28, Union Grove 14: The visiting Wildcats (2-1) took a 28-14 lead over the Wolverines (0-3) late in the fourth quarter when Trey Wofford ran 40 yards for a touchdown. Whitewater led 14-7 at the half after a Josh Clements 5-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter. Wofford had 123 yards on 12 carries with two scores.

Lovett 41, Callaway 21: Lovett (2-1) roared to a 41-0 halftime lead over host Callaway (1-1) then cruised to the victory. Lovett quarterback Hunter Budd completed 7-of-14 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 60 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns. Zach Boden ran for 48 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns.

Grady 49, Towers 0: Hoderick Lowe rushed for touchdowns of 14, 28 and 42 yards and 103 yards overall in a win over visiting Towers (0-3). Safety Damian Swann had an interception and a forced fumble on defense for Grady (2-1), as well as a 59-yard passing touchdown as quarterback in the third quarter. Rashad Reynolds returned a fumble 18 yards for a score in the first.

Stephenson 14, Tift County 7: Quarterback Jordan Tarver of Stephenson (3-0) connected with Cey-ron Willingham on a 23-yard touchdown pass, and Jared Boyd returned an 82-yard kickoff for the game-winning score at the start of the second half. Tift County (2-2) scored its sole touchdown on a run by Rashad Daniels.
