The move comes about six months after the previous private partner, Linger Longer, backed-out of the $80 million redevelopment for the state park.
A company based in Scottsdale-Arizona—Winding Road Development—will take-over Jekyll’s retail village project.
The owners of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel will develop a new 200-room hotel. And a smaller hotel will be built by Phelps Development of Greely-Colorado.
