Roethlisberger Will Not Be Charged

The District Attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit in Milledgeville has decided to not press charges against Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault. Fred Bright says he does not have enough evidence or probable cause. He says he also met with the victim and she does not want to pursue the matter any further.
In March a student from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville said the quarterback sexually assaulted her in the Capitol City Nightclub in Milledgeville.
Roethlisberger has a home in nearby Oconee County.
