There’s been an upswing in people hospitalized for swine flu in Georgia. Because of that, federal health officials are renewing their push for Georgians to get vaccinated.

Across the nation, officials say swine flu illnesses and deaths have been down for months. But Georgia’s had the most hospitalizations the past two weeks.

Officials with the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta say most cases are coming from unvaccinated adults, and many of those had pre-existing conditions making them more susceptible to swine flu.
