The town of Milledgeville is in the national spotlight as local police and the GBI continue their investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a 20-year old Georgia College and State University student by a high profile athlete.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be questioned in the coming days. The alleged incident occurred last Thursday night at a bar in Milledgeville. The athlete has a home in nearby Lake Oconee.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Tom Wilson gave little information during a brief press conference in Milledgeville. He says they plan to question eight people, but will give no details about the alleged victim.
"As far as what her demeanor was, that's not something we'll discuss here either."
Wilson says they plan to get a DNA sample from Roethlisberger and review surveillance video from several area nightclubs he visited.
