Another meeting of the water task force is being held today. It’s the group put together by Governor Sonny Perdue following a federal judge’s ruling this summer that puts metro Atlanta’s water from Lake Lanier in peril.

Proposals on the table include taking water from middle Georgia, the Tennessee River, or the Savannah River.

This meeting comes before Perdue joins fellow governors from Florida and Alabama next week in Montgomery for discussion on water issues.
