A middle Georgia town was shaken by a small earthquake Sunday night. Washington County emergency officials say there were no injuries and no reports of damage in and around the town of Deepstep--about 95 miles from Atlanta, and 12 miles from Sandersville.

Area emergency officials received calls from some residents reporting what sounded like explosions in the area.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake with a 3.2 magnitude on the Richter Scale -- centered about three miles west of Deepstep.
