Isakson: People Anxious Over Healthcare Reform

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson delivered the weeky Republican address to the nation today (Listen above).

He said the Democrats are trying to push through legislation to overhaul the nation's healthcare system, without regard to what people want.

Senator Isakson said Americans want change but don't like what they hear from the Democrats.

“They get anxious when they hear public option, trigger, or co-op, because they know those are just different labels that can lead to the same thing -- government control of our health care system."

Isakson said the Democrats' proposal is too expensive and will lead to government intrusion in health care.
