More rain is in the forecast for today, with showers shifting to the north.

"Northwest Georgia hasn’t seen the bulk of the precipitation the last couple days, but it’s definitely a target today," said Meteorologist Brian Lynn with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

"And the places that have seen the rain, they could see some more and they’re very wet some of those places."

North and Central Georgia are under a flash flood watch.

Lynn says a slow moving patch from Alabama will be passing through those parts of the state at least until Monday.
