Police say an eighth person has died in a gruesome multiple-slaying that shocked residents and attracted international media attention in Southeast Georgia's Glynn County over the weekend.

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Michael Toler. He was one of two-people who were critically injured in an attack that now has left eight-people dead at the New Hope Plantation mobile home park just north of Brunswick. A ninth person remains hospitalized.

Police on Sunday said that they had arrested the man who reported the killings on Saturday. Twenty-two year-old Guy Heinze, Jr. was described as the family member who discovered the bodies. Police would not rule him out of the crime or say he was a suspect.

Police also haven't released any of the other victims' names or said how the victims died. The vague statements by police have left some in the area feeling insecure. Police have said the killer was not among the dead or injured.
