The Warner Robins baseball All-Star boys will not play for the Little League championship. The team lost last night in the U.S. semifinals of the LL World Series being played in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A team from Chula Vista, California beat Warner Robins by the final of 11 to 10.

Warner Robins had a 5-run lead in the game, only to see Chula Vista come back to tie it 10-10 in the 5th inning. In the game's final inning, the 6th, Chula Vista loaded the bases. The winning run scored on a wild pitch, ending Warner Robins' season.

The Warner Robins' boys were hoping to duplicate the effort of the city's girls softball team, which took home a world champion title at their tournament in Oregon.
