Budgets are tight for local governments, but Oconee County may have found a way to earn an extra $900,000.

County commissioners have voted unanimously to accept up to 80 prisoners from the Fulton County jail in Atlanta.

Oconee County jail already takes on inmate from Barrow and Jackson counties at $30 a day.
