A 20-year-old Albany man has been convicted of killing a guest at a Motel 6 in 2007.

A Dougherty County jury Wednesday returned a guilty verdict twice for Patrick Jackson.

The first time, one juror said he wasn't comfortable with the verdict because he was worried Jackson's family would harm him for finding Jackson guilty. The judge replaced that juror, and the panel came back about four hours later with the same verdict.

Prosecutors say Jackson was one of three teens who burst into a motel room to rob 27 year old Jeffrey Todd of Carrollton. Todd exchanged gunfire with the three, killing 17-year-old Jimmy Teemer. Todd also was killed.

The two survivors, Jackson and 18-year-old Lyndon Johnson, have now both been convicted.
