On June 8, GPB won 15 Emmys , and the following week on June 14, GPB’s series “Georgia Outdoors” was recognized in New York at the 34th annual Telly awards with two bronze awards for the episodes “Fiddlin’ with Crabs” and “The Water’s Edge.” The episode “Pelican Survivors” received a silver Telly, the highest honor.

The Southeast Regional Emmy Awards are held annually to honor excellence in the broadcasting industry.  The list of winning productions illustrates the breadth of programming Georgia’s public media outlet offers viewers.
