Hello, fellow weather enthusiasts! I have a secret to share with you: when I’m not being a weather woman, I crank up my radio and pretend that I am a rock star. It doesn’t matter that I can’t carry a tune; I just let the wave of musical energy wash over me as I envision myself stage-diving into a sea of fans.

Pearl Jam is one of those bands that inspire my inner rock star. Formed in Seattle in 1990, Pearl Jam’s debut album, Ten, launched the band into mainstream radio play. Twenty years later, filmmaker Cameron Crowe produced Pearl Jam Twenty, a documentary chronicling the band’s early years and its meteoric rise to fame. GPB will be airing the program on Wednesday, October 26th at 10pm, but you can also win passes to see Pearl Jam Twenty at the Midtown Arts Cinema on October 11th at 7pm!

Leave a comment below or on our Facebook page – the first 10 people will receive a pair of passes to the event! Please note: pass holders must show up early. We cannot guarantee you a seat if you are late as many of the previous showing have sold out.

So embrace your inner rock star and come on out to see Pearl Jam Twenty! I hope to see you there!
