It's Friday again, which means it's time for another Football Fridays matchup on GPB! The cold front that produced heavy rain on Thursday will push through the state and give us dry conditions for kick-off. Temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 60's at game time, but the thermometer will drop 5 to 10 degrees by the end of the game. The wind will blow from the west at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 15 mph. Dress accordingly, and enjoy the game!

Have a safe and happy Football Friday!

As for Saturday...

I will be attending the 8th Annual Boy Scout Merit Badge University at Kennesaw State University! Since 2009, I have served as a Weather Merit Badge Counselor for the metro Atlanta Boy Scouts, and it has been an honor and pleasure to guide our youth towards the completion of their Weather Merit Badge. And while the event is hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts are most certainly invited to the event. For more information, check out the website here. Is your son or daughter attending the Merit Badge University? Is your scout interested in earning their Weather Merit Badge? Leave me a comment, and I would be happy to help!
