At Barkworld Expo, dogs can drink water out of glasses served on hotel tables to their heart’s content. No one will scowl at you if you push your puppies around in a baby carriage. Almost everyone has heard of and will participate in morning sessions of dog yoga, I mean doga. Most importantly you can text, tweet, instagram and Facebook all day all about it because Barkworld Expo is one of the largest pet social networking conference in the country.

It takes place August 22-24 in Atlanta at The Westin Buckhead. I hope you’ll join me there as I’ll be part of a Saturday roundtable discussion at 10:15 a.m. on “Journalists vs. Bloggers: Is There a Difference?”. We'll discuss that thin line between citizen journalism and traditional journalism. You can still get tickets.

Barkworld Expo was founded by Denise Quashie to help educate pet owners who love social media and want to be learn how to use it to advocate for their pets.  Check out my interview with her last year. Below are some videos from past Barkworld’s. Are you going? Let me know.
