How many young people studying abroad get to share their experience with First Lady Michelle Obama? One fortunate American student, studying abroad in China, will do so in a talk with the First Lady who is also in China this week. And you can watch the conversation.

The talk is being streamed Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m. You can watch it right here in the player below.

Michelle Obama is currently visiting China to promote the power of education. She is chronicling her trip on the White House blog. One of her pit stops on the journey was Peking University, a popular institution for American students to spend their semesters studying abroad.

In an address to the students, she stressed how important it is for them to live and learn in a foreign country since economies are more global.
"In today’s increasingly global, interconnected economy, businesses here in America do business with, and compete with, businesses around the world. So these days, knowing a foreign language and being familiar with a foreign culture can actually be an important qualification for a job," Obama told them.

It will be interesting to hear what a student tells her about what and how they are learning in another country. This is also a good way to inspire students to take part in exchange and study abroad programs.
