Official Logo of National History Day

National History Day makes history come alive for America's youth by engaging them in the discovery of the historic, cultural and social experiences of the past. Through hands-on experiences and presentations, today's youth are better able to inform the present and shape the future. NHD inspires children through exciting competitions and transforms teaching through project-based curriculum and instruction.

National History Day and the Library of Congress are collaborating to offer a series of webinars to help teachers learn more about Library of Congress resources.

The hour-long program will start with an analysis of primary source related to the "Rights and Responsibilities" theme and participants will be invited to discuss instructional strategies that can be used with primary sources. In addition, education specialists will highlight resources from the National Child Labor Committee. Join educators from across the country for an exciting hour of examining primary sources!

There is no charge for the webinar, but registration is required. To register, go the the National History Day website: NATIONAL HISTORY DAY.
