Discovery Education is giving a behind the scenes look at Curiosity

Discovery Education is bringing us a new virtual field trip, Journey to the Extreme: Your VIP Pass to Mars. This time, they’re heading to space to explore the Mars rover, Curiosity, and its journey. Registration is free and you'll need a computer with speakers (to listen in) to participate.* The virtual field trip begins at 1pm on Wednesday, December 12.

Take your students on a journey beyond the classroom walls to meet the scientists, engineers and innovators behind one of NASA's most thrilling endeavors - Mars rover, Curiosity.

Join NASA's Associate Administrator for Education and Astronaut Leland Melvin and Dave Lavery, NASA's Program Executive for Solar System Exploration and the Curiosity mission, as they give students a behind-the-scenes look at the Mars rover, Curiosity, including exclusive access to NASA video of Mars.
