Les Misérables on Masterpiece - Sunday, April 14 at 8 PM
A blockbuster novel for over 150 years comes vividly to life in this multi-layered, six-part retelling of Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. A decorated Marine veteran fights to reunite her family after her undocumented husband is deported. With Independent Lens and Voces, filmmaker David Sutherland weaves a parallel love and immigration story set in a world often lived in the shadows.
