Georgia Public Broadcasting will once again take part in one of Atlanta’s most highly-anticipated springtime events, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Each year, we venture out into beautiful Piedmont Park for a chance to thank Georgians from every walk of life for making what we do possible. Rain or shine, thousands are drawn to the park for a celebration of all the things that make life in the city wonderful.

The Dogwood Festival is one of Atlanta’s largest and longest-running festivals, and there is truly something for everyone. From the Artist’s Market, exhibiting works by hundreds of the country’s top artists, to the family fun of the Kid’s Village and Midway Rides. In more than 25 years at the festival, the Disc Dog Southern National Qualifier tournament has become a premiere canine sporting event, and an exciting afternoon to boot! There’s also music and performances on both the Main and International Stages of every genre and from all over the world.

And food. So much food.

For more information, including festival hours, direction and performance schedules, be sure to visit their official website

GPB will be at the festival until 7pm each day in our new location at the 12th Street entrance to Piedmont Park near the International Stage. If you’re in the park, come by and say hello. We look forward to seeing you there!
