GPB will present live coverage of Gubernatorial Inauguration 2019 via television, radio and web platforms throughout the day Monday, January 14.

Coverage of the day’s activities planned in conjunction with the inauguration of Georgia’s new governor, Brian Kemp, will begin at 10 a.m. with a live stream of the prayer service taking place at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta at gpb.org/inauguration. At 1 p.m., the Political Rewind Inauguration Special with host Bill Nigut will be live streamed and air on GPB TV and Radio. Following at 2 p.m., GPB TV and Radio will live broadcast and stream the swearing in ceremony taking place at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.

The day will end with a special edition of Lawmakers, hosted by journalists Scott Slade and Donna Lowry, which will launch the new season in conjunction with the 2019 Georgia General Assembly and will include Inauguration highlights.
