Elijah Green rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns to help Blessed Trinity defeat Oconee County 17-14 in Class 4A championship game and give the Titans their third straight title.

Green, a North Carolina commit,  carried 21 times and scored on runs of 30 and 66 yards, but his success on fourth-and-2 at the Oconee 6 gave the Titans a first down and allowed them to run out the clock.

No. 2 Blessed Trinity (14-1) also got 52 yards rushing from Justice Haynes and quarterback Duncan Reavis completed 7 of 11 passes for 78 yards. Reavis connected with tight end Grayson Gilder for a crucial first down catch on the final drive, when the Titans ate the final 8:38 of the clock.

No. 6 Oconee County (13-2) was led by Max Johnson, who completed 7 of 20 passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Jake Johnson, his younger brother, caught five passes for 50 yards and one touchdown. West Weeks caught two passes, including a 34-yard touchdown. Jimmy Boswell was the top rusher with 38 yards.

The game turned in the final two minutes of the first half, when Blessed Trinity scored twice on long runs by Green. The Titans opened scoring with a 34-yard field goal by Aaron Werkheiser.
