Kendall Boney fired a 22-yard touchdown pass to Jadon Haselwood with four seconds left to give Cedar Grove a 14-13 win over Peach County in the Class 3A championship on Tuesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

With the Saints out of timeouts and facing third-and-goal from the 22, Boney dropped back and hit Haselwood -- considered the state's No. 1 college prospect -- for the tying points. Luis Dominguez kicked the extra point to secure the winning margin. 

It was Cedar Grove's second state championship; the Saints also won it all in 2016. It is the second straight year Peach County has been state runner-up. 

Cedar Grove (14-1) struggled to move the ball much of the game against the Peach County defense. The Saints managed only 71 yards rushing and 124 passing, with Boney completing 6 of 10 and rushing for 22 yards and one touchdown, a 12-yard run. Haselwood had seven reeptions for 42 yards and returned a punt for 25 yards.  

Peach County (12-3) got a 48-yard field goal from Rene Galan, a 2-yard touchdown frun from Noah Whittington and a 30-yard field goal from Galan. The Trojans were led by quarterback Jaydon Gibson, who completd 12 of 20 for 130 yards. 

The Cedar Grove defense was led by Montre Montfort with seven tackles. Haselwod had 4.5 tackes, two for loss. Rashad Cheney had 6.5 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack. 

Peach County's Sergion Allen had 6.5 tackles, two for loss, and one sack.
