It’s that time…

Time to talk about the week coming up…

Last week, as evidenced by what went on- there were a LOT of shocking results- whether we’re talking about end results or just the scope of points between the winner and loser…

So, that brings us to this week- where, in some places, you have region play already getting hot and heavy- or you have the end of non-region schedules where teams are getting healthy when region play kicks in next week or the week after…

What was the most “shocking” result for you, Dear Reader, last week…? Regardless of what your definition of “shocking” is…

Be sure to tell us what is on your mind- either by logging on to our Facebook page (GPB Sports) or letting us know 140 characters at a time on Twitter (@GPBSports) or by reaching out to any one of us individually…

So, now it’s time to take a sneak-peek at the Week That Will Be…

First, Jackie and Mark take a look at 6A where the top team has a home game and others are going to chase… including Colquitt’s rivals in Region 1

In 5A, there’s big Region 3 game between Coffee and Glynn and Regon 2 is hot and heavy already…

In 4A, Eastside and Jonesboro square off in one of the sneaky-good match-ups of the week. Here’s what else is going on…

And, don’t forget about TCC and Bainbridge…

In 3A, Jon joins Mark to talk about the top-ranked Yellow Jackets and a big DeKalb-City of Atlanta match-up.

But, don’t forget about Jefferson and Jackson County and Elbert and Laney…

In Double-A, ranked teams are heavy favorites. But, the question is: Can the underdogs get some wins as they all head in to region play themselves…???

And in Single-A, Region 2 is off and running (or, as we call it “The Region of Doom”) and ranked teams are going at it already…

So, Football Fridays fans, that’s a small sample of what’s going on this week.

Keep us in the loop at your game on the web, on Facebook, and on Twitter. We can’t wait to hear from you as to what you’re looking for and what you’re expecting out of your teams here in mid-September!

Play it safe, everyone… We’ll see you at the stadium!
