The top three teams in Class AAAAA have not changed, but the action picks up after that. Tift County wrapped up the regular season region championship over the weekend and moved up to No. 4. North Gwinnett entered the rankings following a 46-41 upset of previous No. 4 Mill Creek, which dropped out of the rankings. Miller Grove remained No. 1 in Class AAAA after sweeping the regular season series with No. 5 Southwest DeKalb. Woodland-Bartow and Effingham County each moved up one spot. North Hall entered the Class AAA rankings thanks to 14 straight victories. Allatoona is now 9-0 in region play while new No. 10 Grady has won eight straight games. Model moves into the Class AA rankings thanks to 10 wins in its last 11 games. Albany also debuts in the rankings at No. 6. In Class A, Portal with a 20-3 record replaces Terrell County, but Whitefield Academy remains No. 1 over undefeated No. 2 North Cobb Christian.

There was not a lot of movement at all in the girls rankings. In Class AAAAA Lowndes dropped down to No. 10 following a rivalry loss to Valdosta. Chamblee still sits atop Class AAAA, followed by Statesboro and Douglas County. Miller Grove sits at No. 8 after beating Southwest DeKalb over the weekend. In Class AAA, undefeated Westover takes the No. 2 spot away from St. Pius X, but Washington County remains No. 1. Despite 20 wins Allatoona fell to No. 10 after dropped three of its past five games. In Class AA, Buford moved up one spot after throttling a pair of weekend opponents, and Wesleyan still stands as the top team in Class A. Calvary Day sits at No. 2 in Class A while Holy Innocents' and Darlington are poised to move into the top three should one of those teams lose.
