The Passion Driven Lenslinger

August 18, 2011 4:33pm (EDT)

Each week you see the faces of Jon Nelson, Mark Harmon, Niki Noto, Chrissy Warrilow, Dave Hunter, Jackie Brittain, your truly and a cast of others. Yes, we are the faces of Georgia Public Broadcasting's team coverage of High School football here in the GREAT State of Georgia. But who you DON'T know is the man solely responsible for the video you see in the stories that air on our pregame show - he is the one and only Gary Peacock. The Helena, Arkansas native has been shooting High School Football for over two decades here at GPB. Nobody loves the game of high school football more than Gary Peacock. That is why we call him the Passion Driven Lenslinger.

Gary is fresh off of covering the Corky Kell Classic, and he now turns his sights to our First Friday Night Game this week, Collins Hill at Roswell. He will once again be patrolling the sidelines, providing the best pictures for the Worldwide Leader in High School Football coverage, The GREAT GPB. Gary, Thank You for your passion! You infect us with your LOVE for one of America's greatest sports, high school football.
