GEICO is hiring 500 new employees at its Macon office, announced Claims Journal.

The Macon office which already employs 5,400 people, needs to hire the additional employees to keep up with the company's strong policyholder growth.

Rhett Rayburn, Macon Southeast regional vice president states, "Last year close to one-fourth of GEICO associates throughout the country received at least one promotion, so in addition to keeping up with growth we also need to bring on new associates to step into those roles" (Claims Journal).

Available positions include entry-level positions in sales, customer service, claims, emergency roadside service, glass claims and salvage total loss. There are further leadership opportunities for college graduates in GEICO's Management Development Program.
