It is perhaps the single best economic development tool in Georgia. And despite being in operation for four decades, the Georgia Quickstart program is not well-known, except where it counts, among employers.

This week on Georgia Works Radio we take an in-depth look at how Quickstart is helping create thousands of jobs in Georgia.

Also, Savannah has an unemployment rate well below the state and national average. One reason why is a group of local business leaders working with government officials to achieve a goal of making Savannah the most business friendly city in the United States.
