Legal related jobs are available, if applicants are flexible

The most recent report from LawCrossing.com shows 39,892 jobs in the legal profession open across the United States. This figure includes 782 job openings in Atlanta.

According to a report from LawCrossing.com a willingness to consider all opportunities is critical to finding a job.

Harrison Barnes, Chief Executive Officer of LawCrossing says, “Job seekers are following the same old plain vanilla ways to look for legal employment. There is a flood of job leads at LawCrossing and it is here that job seekers should invest their job search time.” He believes that in the current competitive legal job market, “the only way to get offers is to search for and apply to legal jobs that no one else is applying to.”

This could also mean, shifting focus and adopting other law practice areas. Job openings for lawyers have become difficult to find recently.

According to the National Association of Legal Placement, less than 60 percent of U.S. law school graduates found full-time employment in 2011, compared to more than a 74 percent employment level before the 2008 recession.
