Farmers Expansion will create more jobs for Laurens County

Farmers Home Furniture has recently announced they are expanding its current distribution operations in Laurens County. The expansion will bring a $4 million investment to Laurens County. Over the next 10 years, 62 more jobs will be created by Farmers Home Furniture.

Phillip Faircloth, President of Farmers Home Furniture said in their press release, “We continue to honor Sherwin’s dream by investing in small town America and providing opportunities to live and work in small towns. Dublin holds a special place in the hearts of all Farmers home Furniture employees because our dreams and plans begin right here in Dublin. We are grateful for the local support that enabled us to expand our distribution operations here in Dublin and provide more of the same opportunities in our hometown.”

Farmers currently has 180 stores and 1,900 employees throughout Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
