Dan Kaufman Officially Takes Over Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce

The new President of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce is the picture of leadership success.

Dr. Dan Kaufman certainly has academic credentials; an undergraduate degree from the U.S. Military Academy, a Master’s degree from Harvard, and a Doctorate from M.I.T. He also spent the last eight years building a new four-year college, Georgia Gwinnett College.

His distinguished military career included a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts.

Now at the age of 66, Kaufman takes over one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in the United States. Kaufman officially began his new duties as Gwinnett Chamber President on July 1.

According to a Chamber press release he is excited about this new venture in life.

“I look forward to working with the members and staff of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as we strengthen the partnerships that make Gwinnett a great community in which to live and work,” says Dr. Daniel Kaufman. “Gwinnett is unparalleled in its economic resources – from its business environment and diverse workforce to its enthusiastic community leaders and its prospects for further growth. I am excited about the opportunity to lead the Chamber in strategically supporting that growth for the benefit of the entire Gwinnett community.”

The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce has more than 2,000 members with the purpose to create jobs and wealth.
