KSU hopes to make paying for college easier with a new interest free payment plan

Kennesaw State University is moving to a distinctly different method of paying for college.

The University has announced students will no longer need to pay separately for major expenditures like tuition, housing, meals, and fees. Instead all costs will be combined into one lump sum and students will pay a set monthly amount with no interest costs.

According to a report at Kennesaw Patch, school officials believe this plan will help students budget more properly for expenses and make paying for college easier. “We strive to provide effective options and services for our students at Kennesaw State,” said Rita Adams, the university’s bursar. “The Nelnet Tuition Payment Plan is a resource we hope will make it easier for students to budget registration-related costs each semester.”
