Skilled Trades are Most Desired by Employers

Manpower Group, an Atlanta-based workforce solutions company, has released its 2013 Talent Shortage Survey.

The company surveyed more than 40,000 employers across the globe including more than 1,000 U.S. employers.

According to the report, 39 percent of U.S. employers are experiencing difficulty filling open positions within their organizations.

“Today’s uncertain and fast-moving business environment requires employers to embrace flexible workforce models more than ever before, due to ongoing talent shortages, especially in the areas of Skilled trades, mechanics and machinists, to name a few,” said Beth Herman RVP Manpower in Atlanta

The survey shows that the 10 most difficult jobs for U.S. employers to fill are:
