Outlet Mall of Georgia Announced for Savannah Area

A planned “Mega-Mall” for SE Georgia could mean 2,000 retail jobs.

Developer Ben Carter has announced his plans to build the Outlet Mall of Georgia just outside of Savannah in Pooler, GA. The development is expected to house over 500,000 square feet of retail space with four major anchor stores.

The Savannah area is the 3rd largest in population in Georgia and hosts more than 12 million tourist visitors per year.

The mall is scheduled to open in the summer of 2014.
