It’s their party and they’ll roar if they want to on August 20! Join the Fernbank Museum of Natural History this Saturday as it hosts Dinosaur Birthday Bash, a celebration in honor of the 15th anniversary of its permanent exhibit, Giants of the Mesozoic. You and your children can stand at the feet of the world’s largest dinosaurs while enjoying birthday themed activities, a live DJ, crafts, and games. Kids can meet Giggy A. Dinosaur and take pictures with Buddy the T-Rex from PBS Kids’ Dinosaur Train. Check out the full list of fun activities below:

Venture to the Terrace for giant bubbles and tons of birthday fun.

Field Journal Station

Pick up a field journal, earn stamps by completing dinosaur activities, and return it when complete to receive a dino-mite prize.

Happy Birthday Sing-A-Long at Noon


Sing “Happy Birthday” to the dinosaurs of Giants of the Mesozoic.
