Downton Abbey Season 3 Premiere Gala at GPB

Were you one of the wonderful revelers who came out to our premiere gala for Season 3 last night? In case you missed it (or did attend), here is a mini-recap in words, pictures and a video comment from "the Queen". (Be sure to add your two cents below!)
I won’t dish the dirty details on what happened on the first episode of season 3. But it was the general consensus of the audience that the first episode didn’t disappoint. (Be sure to check it out yourselves on January 6 at 9 p.m. on GPB!)
I will post some of the attendees' video reviews and comments, not to be missed, very soon - so check back!

But back to yesterday’s gala …. everyone looked wonderful.

Many guests dressed to the nines in outfits that mirrored the roaring twenties. B98’s Vikki Locke and the AJC’s Jennifer Brett warmed up the audience as emcees with trivia. "Sir Winston Churchill" also made an appearance.
After screening the premiere episode, guests noshed on scallops, mushrooms, beef sliders, chicken and decadent desserts, among other delights. Several won bids on auction items like a stay at a local castle - Rhodes Hall.
What made this night really magical was meeting the fans, viewers and sponsors like you who make what we do at GPB possible and worthwhile. Thanks everyone!
Plus as a bonus, I got a review from "the Queen."
