The Cherry Tree Listening Project 5/26/14: Renee Green moved to Cherry Tree to complete college with lower housing costs, she never knew she would become a victim of crime.

Monday 5/26/14….Renee Green moved into Cherry Tree as part of her plan to complete her college education. Lower housing costs meant she could work part time, and become a full time student. However, she didn't plan on repeatedly being a victim of crime in her own home. Hear Renee's story NOW! 

 

The Cherry Tree Listening Project is a multi-part series, produced by GPB-Augusta in Collaboration with The Greater Augusta Arts Council. It airs weekdays in May during “Morning Edition” at 7:35a.m. and during “All Things Considered” at 5:44p.m. on 90.7FM WACG/GPB-Augusta.

All volunteers receive training, free parking and a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering.
