Tommy Palmer is a veteran Radio/Television Broadcaster. He began his broadcast career at the age of 16.

Palmer currently produces several syndicated Radio programs: “Countdown to Kickoff,” “The Georgia High School Football Scoreboard Show,” “This Week’s Top Games,” “This Week’s Top Ten Teams,” and the daily “Tommy Palmer Sports Comment,” for the Georgia News Network.

Palmer is an Associated Press award-winning sports broadcaster who has broadcast over 900 sporting events in his career including the GHSA Football and Basketball Championships on GPB-TV. He is also a sportswriter with contributions to the Savannah Morning News, Statesboro Herald, Statesboro Magazine, Georgia Football Magazine and Georgia Public Broadcasting.
Palmer is also a published author. “The Daisy Boys Club,” was released in 2011, the first in a series of books about Palmer’s growing up in a simpler place and time.
Palmer is also a published songwriter.
