Born and raised in the Atlanta area, Maiya May is the host of Georgia Public Broadcasting’s "Marked! - A Journey Through Georgia’s Revolutionary History." Additionally, she is also the host of "Weathered," a program from PBS Digital Studios that explores science, the climate and the intersection of the two. 

As a TV host, science communicator and public speaker, her work has primarily focused on climate science, extreme weather, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world.
