Host Bill Nigut talks with former Georgia Governor Roy Barnes and the panel of political insiders about the legacy of Carl Sanders, the 74th governor of Georgia. Sanders died this past Sunday (11/16/14) at age 89. He will be remembered as the leader who made the State of Georgia as key to the evolution of the  post-segregation new  South.

The panel also talks about Johnny Isakson’s unusually early announcement that he’s running for a third term in the U.S. Senate in an election that won’t take place until 2016, how President Obama’s executive orders on immigration will play out here in this state and much more. The panelists are: Jim Galloway, political writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Eric Tanenblatt, Jackie Gingrich Cushman and Todd Rehm and Democrat Buddy Darden.
