Pick, Cook, Keep - Wine

March Crop of the Month:

Georgia vineyards are gaining national recognition for the state’s up-and-coming wine regions, stretching from the North Georgia Mountains’ French-American hybrids, to South Georgia’s muscadine grapes. Winemaking is steeped in history and tradition, and Georgia wineries draw on both to find the best production methods from planting the grapes in the vineyards to aging and bottling the final product. The varieties grown in Georgia are unique to the state’s climate and also offer unique agritourism opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
