Gov. Brian Kemp spoke at his last governor’s workforce summit Thursday and left the crowd with advice on artificial intelligence.

Kemp praised the University System of Georgia and the Technical College System of Georgia for rising to meet workforce needs in the state by training the next generation of workers.

While onstage with Kia Georgia CEO Stuart Countess, Kemp also encouraged workers of all ages to learn to use new technologies, such as artificial intelligence.

"It doesn't matter if you're just graduating or whether you've been in the workforce for 20 or 30 years, you're going to need to learn and adapt," Kemp said. "And our systems are gonna have to be ready to be able to do that. And then, you know, also our companies are, too."

Kemp highlighted the HOPE scholarship and the DREAMS scholarship, a need-based scholarship for Georgia colleges, as ways for young people to take advantage of education to enter high-demand fields.
