Atlanta was one of 16 host cities across North America, and games took place between June 15 and July 15, with eight of those matches taking place at Atlanta Stadium, the FIFA-designated name for Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the tournament.

  • M38: Spain vs. Saudi Arabia June 21, 2026
  • M50: Morocco vs. Haiti June 24, 2026
  • M72: Congo DR vs. Uzbekistan June 27, 2026
  • M80: England vs. Congo DR July 1, 2026
  • M95: Argentina vs. Egypt July 7, 2026
  • M102: England vs. Argentina July 15, 2026

The city celebrated in style Sunday evening after the telecast of the World Cup Final at watch parties around the metro area.

Storms interrupted the fun at Piedmont Park, but Ludacris took the stage at the Celebration of Soccer and Sound and performed to thousands as part of Atlanta's finale, honoring a month of festivities.

The Indigo Girls performed at the Decatur Watch Fest to a hometown crowd of thousands who filled the square.
