Gov. Brian Kemp is calling legislators back for a special session on June 17 to redraw the state’s legislative and congressional maps.

Two Democratic district attorneys have promised a lawsuit over the constitutionality of a bill that was signed into law this week.

Cuts to health care funding by the federal government are putting states in the Deep South, Georgia among them, at risk for shrinking health care access – that's according to a new analysis by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
