At Georgia’s largest research university, college students recently presented innovative projects to help solve some of life’s big problems.  

Over 200 projects across disciplines were presented at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Capstone Design Expo, including prototypes of robots, exercise equipment and accessible musical instruments. 

"What I really hope for them ... is to be really excited about solving a hard problem," volunteer judge David Newman said. 

Students with project proposals in public health and defense received top honors.
