Fulton County and the Trump administration are being ordered into mediation over the U.S. Justice Department's seizure of hundreds of boxes of ballots from the 2020 election.
Atlanta-based U.S. District Judge J.P. Boulee ordered the parties into talks on Wednesday and gave them a March 18th deadline to report back to him on their progress.
The county argues the January raid was illegal while President Trump maintains his false claim that he won the Georgia election.
The order puts a temporary halt to a civil trial over the unprecedented ballot seizure.
